The staff and service is incredible. Each person takes incredible care to ensure your day is on track. It is hard to compare this level of thoughtfulness to any other resort in the world. The hotel is beautiful and its mangrove setting charming, but the people are what make it so worthwhile.

Absolutely exceptional hospitality and care. Truly from the entire team but especially Yvonne, one of the managers. Wonderful food and very engaging and kind executive chef.

Probably one of the best vacations we’ve had for a long time. The staff were amazing attentive and very polite. Will definitely recommend the resort and looking forward to travelling there again next year.

El servicio del hotel, lo escénico de la propiedad; para ser un hotel de este nivel, se debería ver impecable en todas las áreas, en algunos edificios le falta pintura o por ejemplo la madera de las terrazas de las suites y la alberca, se ven descuidadas, eso se arregla con mantenimiento constante

Standout was the unique rooms which are extremely private, spacious and beautifully designed along the lagoon. Personally I didn’t quite understand the ‘Butler’ concept and found some of the comms style a bit frustrating.
The other standout was the ‘Day of the dead’ celebrations. The property was decorated beautifully and very well organised. The opportunity to also participate was great as we felt emerged in the festivities. It would have been nice if the dinner package also included the face painting.
More broadly the property is set within mayakoba so you can explore the grounds including the other hotels and it was fun to explore on the bikes.
The only other thing to be aware off is also this is the more premium / exclusive hotel in mayakoba it’s still geared towards families or at least there where quite a few kids around. Finally don’t have high expectations of the beach it’s tiny and there isn’t much space.
If you want high end luxury visit Maroma.

An unreal experience. Highly recommend rooms 415 through 419 for secluded privacy. Wonderful suites, incredible architecture, furnishing and amenities. Service level is above any resort we have stayed at before. Every detail was impressive and wonderful. Pricey but worth every dollar.
